Nashville is a foodie paradise, with endless culinary options to explore. From traditional southern dishes like fried chicken and biscuits to award-winning restaurants. In addition, the city is filled with craft breweries, distilleries, and cocktail bars where visitors can sample delicious drinks.
Note that wherever possible, you should make reservations in advance. Here are some of the city’s best spots for delicious meals and tasty drinks:
Hattie B’s Hot Chicken
This was personally one of my favorite places we ate in Nashville. In addition to the chicken being great, I also loved the mac and cheese. The star of the show for me here though was the banana pudding — wow!
Bluebird Cafe
Speaking of T-Swift, make reservations to take in live music at Bluebird Cafe where artists like her got their start. You’ll have the chance to hear up-and-coming artists perform in a cozy, iconic space.
Listening Room Cafe
Similar to Bluebird Cafe, Listening Room Cafe is another option for taking in live music in an intimate setting.

The Chef and I
This award-winning restaurant is perfect for a fancy night out. Consider ordering a tasting menu and take in the sights, sounds and aromas of watching master chefs at work if you sit at the kitchen.
