Solo Travel Coach for Women

Solo traveling was not my first choice.

My first solo trip, back in 2014, was a challenge to myself. Just to see if I could. And while I survived my weekend alone in Porto, Portugal I decided
one solo trip was enough for me this lifetime.

This is why I now advocate for everyone to solo travel at least TWICE in their life – not once.

Because not until my second attempt at solo travel, this time in my 30s and post-divorce, did I fall in love with it.

If you’re feeling stuck, you might be dealing with:

  • Fear of being lonely, bored or unsafe while traveling by yourself
  • Getting stuck in the dreaming phase but feeling too overwhelmed to bring your trip to life
  • Wanting to give solo travel a second chance after a bad first experience
  • Decision fatigue at the prospect of not having anyone to ask, “what do you want to do?”
  • Pressure from friends and family who don’t believe women should solo travel

The Unlikely Solo Traveler

I can’t tell you how many times someone has said to me, “you’re brave.” I rarely feel brave until I remind myself of this definition:

“Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear – not absence of fear.” – Mark Twain

The reality is that as the eldest daughter in a Pakistani-American family, I had no one in my immediate circle to set an example or encourage solo traveling for women.

So I became one.

Let me empower you to travel alone.

I’ve traveled solo to Japan, Mexico, Costa Rica, Italy, France, Portugal..
I’ve done it scared, uncertain and full of doubt.
You don’t have to.

Let me talk you through it, one-on-one.

When we’re setting out to do something new, our brain fills up with worries to try to protect us. But on the other side of that stretch and discomfort are growth and confidence.

Solo travel has personally helped me improve my self trust and self love. I’ve transformed from upholding external expectations to living life more boldly on my terms.

And a big part of my own evolution has been grounded in learning how to travel alone. I am deeply passionate about women stepping into their own power, and my goal is to support that in whatever ways I know how.

This is one of them.
