This was a wonderful day. A great guide/driver who gave us interesting information, a stop at the fascinating Cathedral in Reims and two wonderful but different tasting experiences at a small champagne house and then a big famous one. Absolutely incredible day spent in Épernay exploring champagne region! This was our second time visiting the Champagne region and our second time using Viator, so I think my review has merit. I would HIGHLY encourage anyone considering visiting the region to book this tour. This most recent visit was over-the-top and a highlight of our trip to France. Our guide, Lionel, was phenomenal! From greeting us at our hotel early morning with fresh croissants to the end of the day, true day trip was just perfect in every aspect. I would advise anyone to book this. You will not be disappointed and it is worth every dollar spent! You’ll be talking about it for years to come!

A fabulous trip – Victor was prompt on pickup with timely updates, fellow passengers were very friendly, the Champagne region lived up to expectations and the Champagne House (am) & Cooperative (pm) were very good contrasts. Lunch was very nice, but a bit too long. A wander down Champagne Avenue would have been the icing on the cake, if we had had a shorter lunch. The champagne drinks at the vineyard at the end of the trip was a very lovely touch – will not forget that experience! Overall, a very good trip!

A great day out and about in the champagne region with our phenomenal guide Thomas. He went out of his way to ensure that everyone had the best time and that we bonded as a group. It’s particularly great for anyone with a long layover in Paris, as the tour guide will pick you up and drop you back off at the airport.

This is our second tour with David. A few years back, we did a layover tour in Paris. This time around, we had a longer layover (~12 hours), so we ventured out to Reims. We had a fantastic experience at Taittinger – the tour was very comprehensive and the tasting was great. Since we visited off-season and had limited time, we weren’t able to do other tours. We briefly stopped at Moët, since the boutique was open (they weren’t open for tours, though). We also drove around a bit to take in the picturesque towns and views – we got fantastic shots of the landscape. We were also able to tour the Cathedral in Reims and have a nice lunch. David is warm, friendly, and timely! We did so much and still made it back to the airport with time to spare. Would recommend any tour with David. Looking forward to coming back for another tour during the warmer months.

I would absolutely recommend this tour to my friends, and we have been recommending it to people we have met in other tastings!

3 days in Champagne tour by Stephane was amazing – exceeding our expectations. The tour provided a holistic perspective of Champagne production including tours and tastings at several small and large producers in Reims and Epernay. We learned so much – not just about Champagne but of the region’s history and culture. Breakfast and lunch were delicious at places we would have not been able to find on our own.
